I've learned a great deal from Peter Lynch, Warren Buffett, Charlie Munger and Howard Marks, and I put their principles to work in the corner of the market they point straight at. Lynch built his record on small companies before Wall Street noticed them, and Buffett has said for decades that small sums are an advantage, not a handicap. That is where an individual still holds a real edge: businesses too small for institutions to buy and too obscure for anyone to cover. Lynch construyó su historial con compañías pequeñas antes de que Wall Street reparara en ellas, y Buffett lleva décadas diciendo que gestionar poco dinero es una ventaja, no un lastre. Ahí es donde un particular todavía conserva una ventaja real: negocios demasiado pequeños para que los compre una institución y demasiado oscuros para que alguien los cubra.
What you will find here is the written record. Every position has a thesis, published with its date and entry price, laying out what I believe, what has to be true for it to work, and what would prove me wrong. The ones that go badly stay on the site next to the ones that go well. Lo que hay aquí es el registro escrito.
